Pasha Jewelry For Your Feet Review
Hello, Lovelies! Today I'm excited to tell you about the gorgeous sandals I received from Pasha Jewelry For Your Feet. First, let me start off saying that I did receive my pair for free but I will give my honest review of them nevertheless. This collaboration came at the perfect time since sandal season is right around the corner and I haven't even started buying any new pairs yet for the warmer weather that will soon be upon us. What better way to embark on this fashion odyssey then with a pair of marvelous bejeweled sandals. I have always been attracted to shiny and sparkly adornments hence my obsession with costume jewelry, so, I get really excited when I see a pair of shoes that caters to that one particular vice. Usually, it's not good for my wallet but it does make my delighted heart skip a beat with joy and fascination.
Before I get too ahead of myself let me give you a little more background about the designer and family owned brand that sent me my lovely pair. The forces behind the brand are husband and wife team Peter and Namrata Mirpuri. While traveling on business Namrata could not help but notice that at resorts women still wore their jewelry no matter how hot it was but were pairing them with ordinary flip flops. So she came up with the idea of a resort shoe collection with gemstones that would complement a glamour girl's ensemble perfectly. To bring it full circle they named the line Pasha after their young daughter.
When I received my pair they came in a lovely gold box that was so posh! It had metal gold corners and get this ... the box is collapsible to make it easier to travel with without taking up a lot of space. It also came with a nice organza shoe pouch to store your shoes in as well. What was really cool was how much care they took to make sure that the sandals were properly packaged and that the embellishments on the shoes were protected as you can see in the images below.
After unwrapping I made sure to check that everything was in order and in the right place. I have bought bejeweled sandals in the past from other brands and have received pairs that had a missing adornment or had a jewel hanging on for dear life with a loose thread so I am overly cautious when I buy a pair. I was happy to see everything was firmly in place with the pair I received from Pasha and that they were of a good quality and had sturdy construction. One major caveat when ordering is that their shoes do run small and they do not offer half sizes, so when ordering you do have to order a whole size up to ensure a proper fit.
Of course, in order for me to give a proper review, I had to wear them out around town to see how comfortable they are. Usually, I only buy sandals with ankle straps because I have large feet but very skinny ankles so without straps most sandals just fly off my feet when walking. Pasha did offer styles that had an ankle strap but I was drawn to the SULAWESI pair (retails for $139.00) and I figured since they actually come up higher and wrap around the foot that they would probably stay put when navigating the city. I am happy to report that my assumption was correct and I had no mishaps while wearing the sandals. Which is a huge relief since I have had enough moments of tripping over my shoes (kind of the whole reason I do not wear flip flops) and face planting in front of total strangers, lol.
Pros: Great construction and materials. Very comfortable and sturdy. Fantastic packaging and branding.
Cons: Runs small and no half sizes available.
Summary: Loved the pair I received and they add a bit of glam to my spring/summer wardrobe. Quality construction and materials left a huge impression on me and I would certainly check out their other styles and possibly order more.
